I tried to locate the following ad code within our wordpress system without success… The website is ProWrestling.com, I see the adcode within our main page source code but can not find where to edit it.
</div></div> <!– ./block1 –>
<!– A generated by theme –>
<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script><div class=”td-g-rec td-g-rec-id-custom_ad_3″>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
This ad in particular, I believe can only being seen on tablets and not desktops. Please help.
Thank you
Hi,
The custom ad 3 is added in the destined ad spot in the theme panel here: http://screencast.com/t/LWTEqWAY1c and then can be used either on pages with visual composer inside an ad box element or on sidebar widgets. In your case the ad is in the sidebar: http://screencast.com/t/9dDRwA8s2
Hope this helps.
Thank you!
This ad company keeps telling me it’s not the same ad.. because when I edit the “custom area 3” section of our themepanel, I am told I was unsuccessful in wrapping the Ezoic ad code around that existing ad.
Furthermore if these ad codes were the same then the code seen below in the imgur image would look the same as the one I pasted below (found currently in the custom area 3 themepanel section)
This ad below is the code I’m searching for:
The code you’re referring to in our custom three are of the themepanel > ad area is the following:
<!– Ezoic – Sidebar 3 – sidebar –><div id=”ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-104″>
<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>
<!– below all/ tna/wwe news –>
<ins class=”adsbygoogle”
style=”display:block”
data-ad-client=”ca-pub-4793404262316174″
data-ad-slot=”3674627237″
data-ad-format=”auto”></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>
</div>
<!– End Ezoic – Sidebar 3 – sidebar –>
I believe the ad theyre trying to target is possibly a mobile ad, and I dont know where to locate it.
I believe it’s a mobile ad because when viewing the website on my tablet I see ads interjected between every other three headlines (hopefully you can view on a tablet to confirm ) and I believe those are the ad codes I want to edit. These ads can’t be seen on desktop.
If those suggested ads above, viewed only on my tablet, isnt the right one I was originally looking for please tell me where to locate them within WordPress because I can’t locate them.
Ok, now I’m lost.
If you place an ad in custom ad 3, then that is the place your ad is. It does not move to an other place. You can use the ad spot in different parts of your site but the ad code is still in custom ad 3 no matter the device you set it to display in. I’m sorry but I’m just not getting it. You have only one instance of the custom ad 3 on your homepage and it;s the one I pointed out in my previous reply.
Thank you!
How about this, the ad company believes they located the ad code im looking for in the Block1 section of our website. Now, when I go to the top of our main and click the “edit page” option ..I found both block 2 and block 3 areas but not block 1… Where typically would you find block1 in the newspaper theme?
Also sorry for any confusion, but I also am very confused… What I meant in my previous post the other day was, when I go to the WordPress Theme Panel > Ads > Custom ad 3, the code seen below is whats currently in that area.
<!– Ezoic – Sidebar 3 – sidebar –><div id=”ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-104″>
<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>
<!– below all/ tna/wwe news –>
<ins class=”adsbygoogle”
style=”display:block”
data-ad-client=”ca-pub-4793404262316174″
data-ad-slot=”3674627237″
data-ad-format=”auto”></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>
</div>
<!– End Ezoic – Sidebar 3 – sidebar –>
Now, why wouldn’t the code seen above here ^^^ that’s currently in our Theme Panel > Ads > Custom ad 3 also match this code seen below in the imgur image? My guess is that the following code (<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>) been inserted somewhere else in our website (same google code though) and thats why Theme Panel > Ads > Custom ad 3 does not match the code seen below.
Hi,
Please check every single ad spot filed and see if the ad is duplicated anywhere: http://screencast.com/t/szchgVVTnjo
A block 1 can be inserted through visual composer so you would generally find the block were you insert it. This is very confusing to me because you are asking us to find ads or elements that you (or someone else) inserted in the site. These do not have fixed positions so you will not only find them in a specific place. The ads or the theme blocks can be inserted in different ways in different places. It’s up to the site admin where these places will be.
An ad inserted inside a block 1, now that is something we have not heard before. Maybe there is custom code involved in the theme files.
In this case, we recommend doing a theme update as you use a very old version of our theme (3.4) we are now at version 6.7.2 This will require a bit of work though as all the code was changed in the theme since that version so you are better off deleting the theme files and installing a fresh version via ftp.
(I could not find any block 1 on your homepage)
Thanks.
