Hello,
I have two questions/issues regarding BlockChain PRO demo homepage images.
1. New images smaller than the originals
When I try to replace the existing image (the ipad one) within the hero section, new image (same dimensions as the original: 575×900 px) is resized/shrinked and positioned below the hero section.
If I try to increase its width and height inside the Composer, then it appears in the hero section, but it’s blurred, pixelated, and the top is cut off.
Even if I just remove the original, without replacing it, that smaller one, svg in the circle, is also placed below the hero section.
I have similar problem with all the other png images on the homepage – they appear smaller than the originals and I cannot figure out the way to englarge them without loosing quality.
Therefore, my question is: how can I properly replace original images with the new ones?
2. “Circular mobile svgs” arrangement in the same manner as the desktop ones
I have another question, but not sure should I open a new topic or just post it here. It is concerning the section with six svg images around the circular one (png) – the only animated section on the homepage.
These svg images don’t show in the same order in the mobile version as in all the other ones.
What is the easiest way to arrange them in the same fashion as they appear on other devices?
I’ve tried manually, but that is a tricky one…
If that’s easier for you, I can just send you my login info via email.
Thank you very much in advance!
M.
Hello @maraaa !
1. If you upload an image that is little than your size from settings, then this could appear blurry and not high quality. I suggest you to upload the images in your Media Library in full size.
2. Please provide more information about your issue such as screenshots or a video.
Thank you!
Hi,
1.
Yes, that is it, thanks!
2.
This is the mentioned section (original):
https://imgur.com/a/LBNLxCu
The order of appearance of these icons&text around the central image is important to me.
When in mobile version, they are positioned vertically, and that’s OK, but they don’t appear in the same order as in the desktop version (in original as well as in my case).
When I try to rearrange them (drag&drop), they don’t look good – the first and the second image are always divided with the noticeable gap, etc. No matter how much I try, just cannot position them properly when trying to change the order.
I tried to change the dimensions of the central image, just in case if that’s the reason, but that accomplishes nothing.
Maybe you have an idea what would be the solution…
(3.) If that’s not a problem, I have an additional question – it regards the anchor links, also on the homepage.
Let’s say that, instead of opening a page, I want this to jump to this section. How can I do that? To be more precise, how do I make that or any other section a placeholder (if that is the right term).
Thank you very much for the help.
Sincerely,
M.
Hello @maraaa !
2. How you want to arrange it? You have the possibility to order the inner columns in this case: https://prnt.sc/HQXqP90oy3vJ
3. A workaround there could be to use the Row ID(content), for example: https://prnt.sc/I2k1fJxfDsgn and in the Appearance -> Menus, specify the ID instead of the link, for example “#test”.
Thank you!
Dear Bettina,
2.
I would like to arrange them clockwise, as they are in arranged in the desktop version.
However, following your advice, whenever I try to highlight one of the images, those below (including the central one) are highlighted, so the layout/order refers to it, too (messes up everything).
I’m afraid I don’t understand the very concept of the order function…
3.
Thank you, now I understand.
Thanks again,
M.
Dear Bettina,
this is the case:
-in desktop and tablet version, these svg images are in the certain order (clockwise);
-in mobile version, they are shown vertically, but not in the same order (instead of 1,2,3…, they are e.g., 6,3,5…)
When I try to drag and drop them, there are always some issues with the space.
So, if you were me, how would you arrange them by using the Layer/Order function that you mentioned, or any other way?
Please let me know if I wasn’t precise enough and if you need more information.
Thank you!
M.
Dear Bettina,
Order can be changed – they are movable. That’s not an issue.
The issue is that, however I rearrange them, there is a gap between first and the second image.
I assume there is some detail that I’m not seeing (very possible) or there is the way using that “Order” under Layout option – which I don’t understand how to use.
Please, if and when you can, try to change the order of the images in the mobile version of the mentioned section. You will figure it out immediately.
Thank you!
M.
Hello @maraaa !
You can remove that space : https://prnt.sc/7tY9PsVzTj-L
But, please try it in a mobile page, not a responsive version, because if you change something in the mobile viewport, it will be changed also in the desktop viewport: https://prnt.sc/0HlNeqWOjXqG
Thank you!
