If you are using a blog as homepage, then the comment count can be remove using the settings from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/EkKfiCC.png

Is there any option available (enabling/disabling) in the theme penal settings to do this task. I try to avoid using codes because then one needs to keep record of the of such changes.
