Hello
I have quite much white empty space on both sides when displayed on desktop. This applies both to the homepage content (not header and footer) as well as blog post template, pages template, tag template and category template. It is possible to set the width of thoose templates and homepage content to 90% of the desktop screen´s width?
Thanks from Lena.
Hello !
In order to make the site full width you have to select every row of your page using the tagDiv Composer and then set the stretch mode you want like here : https://www.screencast.com/t/BkWwdHh6
In order to make the post page full width you will have to add a single post template and then edit it. Check more about how to have single post template here: https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/ And for the header you can do it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/xf56tQN0.
Thank you !
Thanks, I easily did the stretching with padfing of all rows for the homepage.
I activated the Cloud Libary. But as I do not want to change the layout of my post template, page template, tag template and catagory template more than making them wider; I would like to make copys of my existing templates and change the width. I do not want to create totally new templates, starting all over again. Also; I do not know how to recreate my templates. Is it possible to crate copies of the existing templates and only change the width of the content in the single post templates?
Also; will the new templates be applied to all existing blog posts, pages etc?
Hello !
Unfortunately copying and pasting pages doesn’t work for the composer. But as I have inspected your page I think that Single Post Template 4 will fit your needs since it looks almost identical.
Once you’ve set and edited your template using the composer, you can go into Theme Panel – Post Settings – Default post template and set it like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/KCQj8UwX
Hope this helps.
Thank you !
