BlogPosting schema

I notice my posts show up as Article schema. I’ m assuming that Newspaper does this behind the scenes, correct?

There is also a type or Article schema called, BlogPosting. Can I enable that in Newspaper somewhere or will I need to use a plugin?

Also, are there any plans to support Q/A and Speakable schema?

Hi,

You would need a plugin for that, that would be the easiest method. There are also other ways, I found some guides

The theme will indeed add basic structured data, this is defined in it’s code. But it does not have options to add more or change it however.

2. are there any plans to support speakable or question-and-answer schema?

Hi,

1. The schema is coded in the theme files, for example

The structured data can be seen by testing with the Google tool
– https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/

2. I am not aware of any plans to give the possibility to add more schema in the theme, by a theme option. Sorry for any inconvenience.
