Hi,
I am reaching you out for the issue of the Blog post updated date. I have posted a blog on the month of December, 2022. And again I have updated the same article few days back. But the article date is showing the same published date ie. December, 2022.
I am using a premium Newspaper Theme. Can you please update the Post Date feature. So that if I update my old blog posts it will help my user to understand that the I update my old posts too and it also help me to rank in the SERP.
If I update the old post the format should be like this in the attached screen shot
https://prnt.sc/o4QeUrRxvmRT
Or any other format compatible with the Newspaper Theme. Hope I am able to make you understand my query.
Hi,
With tagDiv Composer, you can add the element Single Post Modified Date in Single Post Template and
you can change the additional text in “Last updated on” => https://www.screencast.com/t/EvfUQMfzkd, and the Single Post Modified Date will show you the last time you edited that post => https://www.screencast.com/t/j74uz43paZj -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/single-post-shortcodes/
Thank you!
This will be applicable for all the posts or a single post only? If I wish to enable this feature in all my blogs is it possible to activate or a single post wise I have to enable this feature?
I tried to add the element Single Post Modified Date in Single Post Template, but there is no option of “Single Post Modified Date” https://prnt.sc/hVCotfgTNzIS
Hello,
Please let me know if you have the WP Bakery plugin or another page builder, if yes, please deactivate and check after.
Also, if you have set the same template to all posts, you need to add the Single Post Modified Date element only once, which will apply to all posts.
Thank you!
No, I do not have WP Bakery plugin nor I am using any other page builder. I am only using tagDiv Composer.
Hi,
So, the Single Post Modified Date is not displayed in the Single Post Template? Please search after date https://i.imgur.com/h3k3agW.png
Thank you!
Nope. Not showing after date too. https://prnt.sc/E4SFAB7gt9T9
I have to create a Single Template using Cloud Library? https://prnt.sc/FSp1_y68MxS2
I am not able to edit the post through tagDiv Composer. Kindly guide me for the same.
Hi sushmasmaurya@gmail.com,
Yes, you need first to check if you have a single post template – https://i.imgur.com/vZRQInW.png, if you have it, just edit it with tagDiv Composer, if you do not have one, then add it from the cloud. – https://i.imgur.com/HK9047o.png then in tagDiv Composer search for date – https://i.imgur.com/AG9wVhf.jpg
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
I have added the single post template from cloud template and saved the changes. https://prnt.sc/oujUXAV5dy1j After that I have made some changes in the old blog and updated it but it’s not showing the updated date on the post. https://prnt.sc/2luggPGqB3Xe
Hi,
Please provide a video with your settings with tagdiv Composer.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.
Thank you!
Here is the recorded video link. https://www.screencast.com/t/Cmo7siNQ
It’s done. The template was not set up as the Global Template. Now it’s showing the updated date on the blog.
Thanks for the support.
Hi,
Can you please assist me for one more thing? Single post template that I have created, is working good on the laptop or desktop screen but when I see in the Mobile I can see the old version of the template. How can I change it in the mobile?
Sharing the screenshot of both the desktop view and mobile view template, it will help you to understand my question.

Hi,
You have the mobile theme plugin; please deactivate it.
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose your mobile version.
Thank you!
It’s now updated on mobile theme too. Thank you for your support.
