Hello, my website is https://italytravelsecrets.com/.
The home page images (the articles previews) are slightly blurry. It doesn’t depend on the image itself, because if I click on the image and the article loads, the featured image is clear.
How can this be fixed? Thank you.
Hello,
Please check the image size on that block, and set it to full size or default -> https://i.imgur.com/ldYGnby.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/IAAIHAg.jpg
Normally if it is the same image there should be no differences in its display
Thank you!
Hi, thank you for replying. Unfortunately:
– the first block – Big Grid Slide – doesn’t have the options that are shown in your screenshot.
– the second block (Latest Articles, see screenshot) cannot be modified by the Tagdiv Composer.
Could you help with this? Thank you
Hi,
So, those blocks use thumbs https://www.screencast.com/t/xMrbkzoh6z Now I checked, and seem the images are not blurry.
Thank you!
Hi,
they have a lower definition than the original one. Everybody on my team noticed it.
Please check this article for example, the difference is more evident:

Compare the featured image of the article with the same images on the home page.
How can it be fixed?
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend changing the block with Big Grid Flex and after you will be able to change the image size https://i.imgur.com/kRGfpGn.jpg
For the posts loop, please edit the page set the page template to default and after you can add the Posts Loop block in the page -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3jyBPefS0m8u
Thank you!
I had the same issue with the galleries.
But in my case the images on laptop screen were ok. But they were blurry on my desktop monitor which has resolution of 2560×1440. The inspector says my thumbnail is 300×450 pixels, but in fact physically they had (at least) twice more pixels.
Finally, I have installed another gallery with Retina support. This gallery generates photo thumbnails for bigger screens too. And the issue have göne.
So, I think that either you can try to seek for some Retina plugin for WP, or the theme developers must add support of Retina screens.
