I too am having styling issue with the VC tabs.

I think some of the element names changed with the updated version of VC and haven’t been corrected yet.
Will this be fixed in the next update?
On the plus side, the new version of VC fixed the editor issue introduced when WP 3.9 was released.

Just installed v3.8 and can confirm that the tabs are fixed. Thank you for the updates.
