Breadcrumb structure in Google

Hello,

My site is http://www.traveltwirl.com. Although I have enabled breadcrumbs, in Google search the breadcrumb structure is not shown and the full link is shown. Can you please tell me the solution?

I went through the showcase of NewsPaper websites on this forum. I found two websites which are running on NewsPaper 7 theme and they show breadcrumb structure in Google search. I am attaching the screenshot. If they can have breadcrumb with NewsPaper 7, then it should be possible to have in mine too.

Google chooses whether to use breadcrumbs or not, and they can do so regardless of mark-up. They grabbed our breadcrumbs on our old shtml website for years with no schema markup at all.

Generally you need to resubmit your sitemaps in Search Console whenever you make any changes to your site “markup” like breadcrumbs, themes, etc., so that they “reindex” and restructure your content in their cache.

All our sites using Newsmag and Newspaper, and WPION, (and our in house theme), all have breadcrumbs in SERPS.

Also note console errors on your pages can cause issues, so good to check pages with “fetch as Google” which will show you WHAT THEY SEE.

You have issues on some of your pages “right now” like so:

As mentioned in my comment above, http://www.virtualmagie.com and http://www.jornhaugland.no both have NewsPaper theme and the results of both the sites are displayed in Breadcrumb format in Google search. If their result can be displayed in breadcrumb format without any theme updates, so can mine. There has to be some solution.

also
a) fix errors on your pages
b) test/resubmit sitemap to Google – “resubmit” your sitemaps if they work!
c) fetch post as Google to “see” exactly “what Google sees”
d) resave permalinks
e) clear and reset all caching
f) clear transients (mini-caches) with WP-Optimize or similar

If it works on 20,000 sites and not yours, then issue is with your setup –or– with Google not re-indexing your pages, which you need to tell them to do; theme cannot control what Google does, only provide the “hinting” for them to do something.

I have seen this problem in later versions except Version 7.0.

I test in the same domain by change theme from 7.8 to 7.0 then re-submit google (first url), it shows different in SERP.
* no Breadcrumb structure error in both URLs
