Breadcrumbs: is it possible to edit breadcrumbs?

I am creating pages with long titles, but I want to show short breadcrumbs.

For example in this page:
http://www.brasilnaitalia.net/um-teste-123

I want to show only “teste” instead of “Este é um teste” but I want the title of the page to remain the same. Where can I edit it?

Hi,

You have to modify the function which handles the breadcrumbs to use something else as a title – http://screencast.com/t/CDuNGqFGLTRD
Unfortunately i cannot provide a full working solution for what you need. You may have to get an alternative title to be rendered there or create a function which returns a title excerpt. If you don’t know how to modify it i suggest that you hire a professional to doit for you.
