Strange thing with the breking news ticker: we are unsing it (or not) for really breaking news – e.g. public warnings. so the ticker has to display usually only one post. this causes the ticker to disappear after the text was shown once.
after that, the tiker is invisible. it is still possible to click the bessage, but it remains invisibele.
this can be easily reproduced with any browser on windows.
could you pls repair that 🙂

Sorry but the news ticker does not have this type of functionality. I will add this suggestion to our list for future updated but I cannot promise it will get implemented as we have lots of suggestions.

The ticker should of course be functional, no matter how many posts are linked to that category.
Sorry or the misunderstanding. I thought you were looking for a special type of functionality from the news ticker.
If your news ticker does not work, please provide a link to your site so I can inspect it.

On the start page you can see the breaking-news ticker. showing a test-message an disappearing to nowhere…
as it is a live page, pls. take a look soon so that we can remove the ticker again.
btw: you can reproduce the error on any installation ..
