If an image isn’t found on our server it’s automatically re-directed to the main 404 page (see: https://fminside.net/images/news/DF11/67276127.png )
Is there a way to disable the re-direct for this type of URL alone?
Reason why I am asking is that we want to use a standard image if an image is not found on our server for this type of image. But we don’t want a standard image for all posts.

This is normal to get a 404 when you access the image url that do not longer exist, because the link to it is no longer good/complete ( do not longer exists).
If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details and some screenshots.

Yes, I know it’s normal to get a 404. The question is: is there a way to kill the re-direct for a specific set or URLS only?
I am looking for a way to show standard images for each of the folders below:
https://fminside.net/images/news/DF11/
https://fminside.net/images/news/club-logos/
https://fminside.net/images/news/clublogoslarge/
https://fminside.net/images/news/competitions/
These are all folders with images only and we use these folders to automatically load in an image based on an ID we use on our website and posts. If an ID isn’t found inside the needed folder, we would like to show a standard image (for players it should be: https://res.cloudinary.com/fminside/image/upload/v1577265414/player-reserve1_f4hlfm.png).
