BROKEN SITE AFTER SUCCESSFUL BACKUP RESTORE

I moved site to another server. Backup was made with Updraft plugin and restored with the same plugin. According to the plugin, no files were missing and restoration of all site files was 100% successful. When I try to load the page, it is broken as hell! Desktop version as well as mobile version. All media is blank, css is missing, nothing is working as it should be.

P.S. It would be great to implement PRIVATE option here when we’re requesting for help in order to hide images or files or whatever we don’t want other people to know about. I don’t want that all people from this forum know what’s my site and what I’m doing, for example.

Well, theme devs not responsible for moving a working site to another server — that should be done via the migration tool on the hosting server, or using DUPLICATOR plugin for best results; for probelms with using Updraft, you might check with their support team if their solution for moving your site doesn’t work. Not really a theme issue there.

And you can email TagDiv privately – note the email bottom of every page. 🙂

DUPLICATOR plugin is best solution for migrating a website to new server if the new host doesn’t have a migration tool (e.g., Plesk setups can do this, as can most cpanel hosting providers).
