browsing posts paginations

Hi,

When I try to browse posts, the page 2, 3 etc. send a 404 randomly.
like in category/news/page/2/, category/news/page/3/ …

What could be the reason?

Hi,

So when using the category pagination some pages provide 404 errors. You could check server error logs or contact your hosting to have them take a look, maybe they can see what could be the cause of the errors.

Hi,

I checked those but they were not so helpful.
I do not understand why it works sometimes and not other times… with the exact same URL. It seems so random.
Why do you think it’s related to hosting?

Hi,

I thought maybe they could check the error log, there is usually an error log or log kept by the server, 404 would mean the the requested resource is not found on the server. You could check other guides and try more suggestions

Sometimes it may even be fixed by simply re-saving the permalinks in WordPress settings
