Does anyone in this forum use Buddypress? Does it slow your website down? If you are using it successfully, could you please share a link to your website?

Yes we have lots of users that have buddypress installed and we have no reports of it slowing down the site. The plugin is among the tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme so there should be no issues with it.

Thank you so much for your input on this. I am more concerned about all the profiles added when people add images of themselves than I am about the core plugin. I just wonder how people are using it for news sites. There is so much you can do with Buddypress.
