I have BP activated, which is main feature of the site. On posts I have author icon/author box which leads to WP author page – how to link this post author icon/box to BuddyPress profile ?
P.S. I saw many requests here and in theme comments about Front end Articles posting with BuddyPress. The plugin BP Social Articles is perfect for that, despite it is not updated since 2 years. Many BP themes continue advising it to extend BP(ex: KLEO theme). In your theme it works well, but has some styling issues, I may send screenshots if you wish to check the plugin.

If you wish to redirect a link from the authors you can use a 301 redirect: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/beginners-guide-to-creating-redirects-in-wordpress/
The plugin in question is not tested so styling for it was not added in the theme. Please provide a link so I can inspect the css issue and maybe I can provide a quick fix for it there can be one.

Well the social articles plugin is not tested with our theme. BuddyPress is tested and works properly but we cannot say the same about the social share plugin. We cannot guarantee it will work.
