Sure, but it comes with own template in \wp-content\themes\newspaper\bbpress

I’m talking about buddypress not bbpress, and I guess they’re not same. :/

Likely best to review the support info on the Buddypress website as their goal is to make it compatible with all themes and take the burden of theme developers out of the mix, at least that is what they are saying on their site 🙂

So, technically all themes are compatible with Buddypress – and that compatibility is managed by Buddypress folk. As long as the site works with WP 3.9 and is not a horrible mess, it should work just fine.

However worth noting this theme is primarily setup for a “newspaper” site and not a social network portal (hence the name); two totally different things.

Best bet .. try it! 🙂
