I am using a Visual Composer page as one of my MegaMenu items. I’ve built a page to look a certain way and it gets loaded up as a submenu and displayed when you hover over.
Like this:
However, when I go to the Forum, it looks like this:

MegaMenu also has a feature to embed a page as part of the menu for a custom look:
I need to put a lot of automakers in the submenu and the way MegaMenu would typically do a vertical list for sub-menu items doesn’t work for me. This is functionality provided by the plugin itself.
When you use this functionality in conjunction with a page developed with Visual Composer and you are browsing a bbPress forum, you get the above broken sub-menu.

I have tried to recreate this but haven’t found any issues with this, the forum, mega menu and VC work well together.
I’m not sure how you’ve created the page you use as mega menu for the “brands” item but I suggest you do it like this as I’ve tested it an works just fine:
* create your menus from appearance > menus section: http://screencast.com/t/Q3QLXrdbsY
* set the page like this and chose your menus: http://screencast.com/t/xnvfjxoKVNa
* then sue the page ID an set it as mega menu for your menu item: http://screencast.com/t/s9JmMjMYi9h

I have also created a forum and test this as a normal menu item but haven’t had the issue you’ve described: http://screencast.com/t/eWF4oTKfyIly ..so please make sure you do this as I did.

Thanks for testing this and providing a test case. However, I am still having the same issue as before.
Here is the menu, built to your specification, and working when you are on the home page:
But, if I browse to the forum and drop down the same menu that was working before, I get this:
It’s as if the shortcodes are being completely ignored for some reason.

I’m not sure how you’ve set this. Please make sure you also get this behavior without any plugins active and this is still happening give us wp-access so we can also check this and send login details via email at contact@tagdiv.com and also provide an URL to this topic or specify your issues details.

I did turn off all my plugins (except for a couple) to see if it was still happening — it was.
