Hi not sure if bug, or something odd here, but when setting up new home page layout today, I noticed I could not specify an author when trying to use either module 1 or module 11 …
basically in the drop down filter for authors it only shows “me” as the logged in user and none of the other authors, and no way to put that in by ID number since it’s locked into the drop down selector.
Author roles are all “contributor.”

I see that not works only with administrators :|, we will investigate this to retrieve the list for other type of users to. I think should be for Authors, Editors and Contributors to.

I did try changing some users roles, and obviously authors, editors, and contributors all should be selectable. Although …. on on some sites if they have 200 authors that is going to kill that. Never a perfect solution there … perhaps adding a box for entering a single author ID would probably work best.

This could be a performance issue and probably a box with ID should work fine, I think. Is on our todo list.
