Hi,
Could be because of the PHP version used. If you use the latest theme version we recommend if possible to use PHP 7, 7.1 or 7.2. Please check what is used currently by the server, it can be seen in the theme system status for example – http://prntscr.com/ngkn7p
If you use an older theme version, maybe the server was updated to newer PHP versions by the hosting, this may not be supported by an older theme.

Thank you for your feedback, the PHP version is 7.1.27
I have been all around the forum about this issue, and the solutions that seemed to work before does not work with this issue.

Please also check if the wp-debug is set to false in the wp-config file
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
What theme version are you using? if it is an older version it may not work properly with PHP 7.
If none of these apply to this case, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. Let us know.
