Building a Hompage from the templates availbale

Hello, Iam following up the tutorial but i can not set up a homepage from the available temaplates in the system..

For start you can choose a predefined template like the homepage – video template(see the video)- http://screencast.com/t/wTGN6mj0vJN but this will not use video files, just usual text and image content. Click on the template to select it. Now all the rows, blocks, sidebar and ad boxes are already imported on your new page. Now click Publish to save settings.
Also after you have created your page you can set it as static frontpage from Settings > Reading – http://screencast.com/t/dWdpT5FUTdT
