Can I add Category description in Ajax Filter?

I am using a block 12 with a filter set up by category. 6 categories selected in an Ajax Filter.
It is working great but I have intro descriptions written for each of the category pages and would like to know if I can get them to show up before the posts in the block.
I hope it can be done.

Hello,

Sorry but blocks were not designed to pull the category description. It will have to be made custom. The category description is added here in our theme: https://www.screencast.com/t/2HCxsnz0
You can try to replicate the function on blocks if you have the proper coding skills.

Further to this I’d like to place the category description at the bottom of the page, can you tell me how to achieve this?

Hi,

The category description is displayed above the top grid, on the category pages

There is no option to move the location of the category description in the theme. The category page customization can be made through the theme panel, using the available options
