Can I create author registration

Hello,

I am creating a magazine where various authors will be able to contribute articles

Flow is
author registers and add new article
Article is saved as draft.
Admin approves the article and publishes.

Is there a way for an Author to review the list of articles submitted?
Is there a way for authors to view the number of pageviews on the submitted articles?

hi,
you create an article from ‘WordPress Post’ section, not from our theme.

try google to find if is possible. Our theme doesn’t support this.

Hi tadDiv support, we need this contributor functionality too. Could you clarify your comment “our theme doesn’t support this”? Do you mean that the Newspaper theme does not have that functionality, but if we add the “User Role Editor” plugin we could add that ability through WordPress?

Hi,
You need to set up from here what role will have all new users, i think Contributors is what you want. http://screencast.com/t/BGixzgz93u1n

You can read here about users role, and on Contributors say:

somebody who can write and manage their own posts but cannot publish them.

About the number of pageviews, this can be viewed public for all users/visitors.

All this stuff is supported by WordPress, not theme related and about that plugin User Role Editor we haven’t tested.
