Hi there,
whenever I want to activate my Newspaper Theme, I get the message “Envato API is down, please try again later or use the manual registration”. This now lasts for more than one week. How should I proceed?

Hi,
Usually waiting for a while and trying again is a solution for that issue, we have yet to identify an exact cause for that message. Please try to activate the theme manually

thanks for reply. Manual activation also does not work. After inputting the activation key on the manual activation page and pressing “ACTIVATE” the button stretches with showing a spinner. After 1-2 seconds the button returns to standard “ACTIVATE” and nothing else happened on the whole page.
I have done this now for several times – always with the same result.
The TagDiv manual activation pages now reports, that the activation key is now used 2 times.
Any helping ideas welcome!

I’m having the same issue. I have tried automatic and manual activation, but it does not work. After hitting the ‘Activate’ butten the spinner just spins! What to do?

@Lybecker First try to deactivate all plugins except the ones provided in the theme, clear any caching installed and try again both methods, if necessary.
