I go to theme panel > Google Fonts Settings then ..
Turn on Thai Support and Saved.
But I still can not find thai font in the Font family dropdown list.
Google Font Name I’m looking for was..
1. Kanit
2. Mitr
Do I need more extra steps ? or Do any thing else ?

You can upload these fonts in the theme panel, if they are not available. This is a guide mentioning how to load custom font files, then they will appear in the dropdown selection

I think upload custom file is an interim solution since user need to convert fonts (sometime conversion not good for some language like thai).
Why can’t we have those thai font in the font list ?

The only fonts available in our theme are presented in the theme panel under the fonts you can choose from. The question why is not relevant because the decision to add a font or not has been taken by the decisional party and asking why is like asking why our theme is named ‘newspaper’ and not anything else. It was a decision that was taken at some point in time.
