Few questions:
1. Can offset features be used if we have selected multiple categories ? For example : under two blocks we have selected “All categories” with “Latest” sorting. Will offset features work? Or offset will work only if we have have single as well as same category?
2. DO these offset features works only under single line( I don’t know the term for it, Single line means 1/3/3,1/3, or 1/3, 2/3 or 1 columns) or it will continue to take care of all posts from the start of the page to the end of the page if enabled?
3. Can we use offset features while keeping the “unique article features” for maximum surity to avoid duplicate posts.?
Hello
1) The offset feature is used when you have 2 blocks with the same sorting. It’s a ‘skip posts’ option. If you have different sorting on the blocks skipping a few posts is useless. If you ahve the same sorting no matter the categories, then it is recommended to use offsets.
2) The offset will only make the current block skip the number of posts you want it to. It will not affect any other blocks. it will only affect the block you set it to.
3) You do not need to use both of these options. You can use both but it will do nothing more.

Okay! Thank you for clearing. Sorting means things like ” All time popular” or “Latest” or “Last 7 days popular” etc. Right?
BDW, what is difference between “last 7 days popular by the view counter enabled” and “last 7 days popular jetpack enabled” sorting. Which is one more effective? Jetpack is optional or it’s mandatory for related sorting?

The main difference between these is that the feature from Jetpack renders the popular posts only from 2 days and our will display the popular posts from 7 days.
