I have two questions.
Question 1
I want to layout my articles on my home page in a specific way.
I can click on any section and adjust which articles appear there. But what I dont know how to do is actually set the articles to “featured” for example? see this screen shot https://www.screencast.com/t/lr5mx8hSv
Or if I select “Random” can I limit it to certain articles?
How does “Modified Date” work exactly?
Basically, my question is how to correctly control the layout of my articles based on these categories or themes?
Question 2
On the revolution slider I want to customize which articles appear. but when I choose “specific posts” depending on which parameter you choose from the drop down the posts appear as numbers see here https://www.screencast.com/t/N0Qoaui7fD
My question is where do those numbers come from? I need to know so that I can enter the numbers of only the articles I want on my home page slider. At the moment, I cannot figure what is producing these numbers or what number corresponds to what post?

1. If you want to set the featured category on your posts please check our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-featured-posts/ using our guide you’ll be able to set the posts in the featured category.
“Or if I select “Random” can I limit it to certain articles?” – random is an order option, if you want to filter the articles you can use this section -> https://i.imgur.com/X53PgLz.png you can check more in our guide from block options from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-block-settings-tutorial/
The “Modified Date” is a new sort options, in order to use it you need to enable this option -> https://i.imgur.com/V0KS1np.png to display the modified date on modules and the order option “Modified Date” will sort the post in chronological order after modified date.
2. That numbers represent the post ids, each post have an unique id ( you can find it by hovering the post title -> https://i.imgur.com/nzuKO0l.png or inside the post in url -> https://i.imgur.com/F9MeFyq.png) all the numbers set in revolution slider represent a list of posts that were selected to be display using revolution slider.
