I just recently purchased the Newspaper theme and after installing it i cannot activate it. I get “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” when i click on activate. I’ve already tried changing the permissions through ftp, disabling all plugins, resetting the htaccess all to no avail. If anyone could help me with this or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

You can manually activate the Newspaper theme from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/EL4k48Lq
If this is still not working go in Newspaper> System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png
admin.php?page=td_system_status
in
admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1
And try after that to activate the theme.

I finally got it to work! The only thing that worked for me was replacing the URL in system status to admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1. I was going crazy the last couple days and the solution was so easy. Thank you man.
