Hi! I’m enjoying working with the Newspaper theme for the first time. Think it will fit my client’s needs perfectly. However, I’ve encountered an issue with the tagdiv composer: I cannot add an image to an element.
For example, if I choose a Hero element and click through to my Media Library to add an image. After selecting the image it doesn’t load into the element and the following error message is returned: ‘Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)’.
I have disabled all plugins except the recommended plugins. I have also tried in Firefox and Chrome. I am running WordPress 5.2.2 with Newspaper 9.7.4.
Please advise.
Hi Vlad,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, as mentioned in my initial ticket, I am getting the error with only the theme plugins activated, ie:
AMP
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Mobile Theme
tagDiv Newsletter
tagDiv Social Counter
WP Bakery Page Builder
I am working on my localhost with the trellis / bedrock WordPress stack. I have no caching enabled.
Any insights?
To follow up my localhost is running nginx with php 7.2 and MariaDB 10.2.
When debugging in the Firefox console I get the following JS errors when trying to insert an image into a page element in tagDiv composer:
uncaught exception: Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z) js_files_for_wp_admin.min.js:16:1

update. I disabled WPBakery Page Builder and it now works.
Hi CrunchCommish,
You got it. The directions do say to use either WP BAkery or TagDiv Composer. I only found that on second reading after support helped me. Glad you figured it out.
