I have changed my header pic from logo on white bg to simply a blue background pic but with no logo. On desktop and phone the change is visible no problem. But on my ipad air the old image persists in both landscape and portrait. I have tried every which way to implement the change to the header with the new image but I cannot seem to replace the old header, even though in my dashboard it shows as being replaced. This is an ipad a couple of years old so it only has ios 12.5.5 which it shows as up to date.
I clear the cache on the site after each change I make. I have also cleaned the ipad safari cache several times.
Any ideas what I’m doing wrong and how to fix it?
Hello!
Make sure that you make the changes for your logo in all viewports :https://www.screencast.com/t/YUVUcyrgh and https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB
Please disable the lazy load: https://www.screencast.com/t/O5pfqQdb, delete the cache and let me know the results!
Thank you!
I have tried all of your suggestions. In fact, with the exception of turning off the lazy load, I did them all before. The old images keep coming back as you can see here.
https://dev.inv-communications.com/files/IMG_2456.PNG
https://dev.inv-communications.com/files/IMG_2457.PNG
I did actually see the correct image once but as soon as I refreshed it went back to the old image.
You can see that it is actualy trying to get the new image here
https://dev.inv-communications.com/files/IMG_2458.PNG when I access the bookmarks. Otherwise I keep getting old images back. I cannot get rid of them
If you would like to access the dashboard, I can set you up as a user. Just let me know how to send you the un and pw securely because I assume this is a public forum.
I would appreciate if you could do this for me because this problem is driving me crazy. I have spent 5 days on this trying every possible combination to get rid of the old images and they keep coming back Pls help.

Hello!
Please make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– cpanel url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Ok I have set an email to support with the info you requested.
here is abridged version of email:
***************
Hello TagDiv Support
As per exchange of support messages with Bettina, I have set you up as a user so you can try and fix the terribly frustrating problems I am having setting up my ipad horizontal and vertical front page on https://onlineinvestmentconference.com . It is obvious I must be really missing something about how to use your theme because I have just added an additional image link and now somehow the front page sliders have duplicated themselves above and below the ipad image. And while on desktop the image is above the slider as it should be, on iphone the image has gone below the slider and I have no idea why.
On other themes you can duplicate elements and have them selectively display on desktop/tablet and phone. I don’t see that capability on your theme. Does it exist somewhere?
(Login info for WP in email)
We don’t use cpanel. We manage our own server. If we need to adjust anything we go through our OVH server panel or filezilla ftp. But I don’t think this a server related issue. Its something to do with your theme and how I’ve set it up.
I have attached some screen shot samples from my ipad as a zip file.
If you need any more information, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Peter Norman
OK, for a couple of reasons, one of which is this problem, I bought myself a new iPad Air, thinking that maybe my old ipad which still had ios 12.5 on it, couldn’t properly render.
So I have been testing with new ipad and seem to have most problems fixed. Probably because I have more experience with the newspaper theme as much as anything. But I still have one problem I cannot solve and that is that in Tablet/ipad portrait mode, my logo (which is really a background image) is too narrow. It won’t go to the edges. I have compromised by changing the colour of the background to merge with the bg image but that’s only a temporary solution till its done properly. So over to you: how in tablet portrait mode can I get the background image to go all the way to the edges?
You can see a screen shot here https://onlineinvestmentconference.com/files/OIC-Portrait-label.jpeg. You have the login info. The red arrows and lines indicate the edges of the background image. The image edges should go all the way to the edge of the content.
Thank you
Peter

Hello!
While you edit with the TagDiv Composer, set this on a row: https://prnt.sc/u2nqWn_HwiGb
Thank you!
It was already in that configuration. https://onlineinvestmentconference.com/files/2022-04-27_7-34-30.jpg
Have you another suggestion?

I think I have solved it. I adjusted the padding to 68. Not sure if its the way to do but it seems to work
https://onlineinvestmentconference.com/files/2022-04-27_7-57-42.jpg
here is ss from ipad https://onlineinvestmentconference.com/files/220427-OIC-portrait_from_ipad.png
I am still struggling with my header. I thought I had succeeded in setting the background pic as the header and not using an actual header logo. But when I do that I find don’t have a website url. So I thought that I would set a clear png chip as the logo overlay over the background. But when I did that the logo located itself to the left and pushed the background pic to the right. Very frustrating.
Can you pls tell me: is it possible to set a background design like mine as either the logo, or as the header background with a url link. Or is this just not possible with Newspaper theme, because I don’t seen any examples in your portfolio examples.
My url is https://onlineinvestmentconference.com/

Aaaargh! I had everything working on desktop, tablet vertical and horizontal. Then I created the mobile, and the phone version looks ok. But then it seems the mobile version took over as the tablet version and now the mobile tablet versions have taken over and they are all screwed up. How do I get this madness under control by leaving the tablet versions as defined by the desktop version?
1/ Hello there I am still having an awful lot of trouble making my website work in an integrated fashion on desktop, tablet, and mobile. It seems if I create a separate mobile page from my homepage, it will work as a mobile page, but that then throws out the desktop and tablet versions. So I go back and straighten out the tablet and desktop versions and that throws out the phone version. Why does this happen when they are supposed to be separate pages. I don’t understand why if I’ve got a totally separate phone page, why does that change the desktop and tablet versions? And vice versa, why if I change the totally separate desktop and tablet versions does it end up changing the mobile version?
2/ Furthermore, why is it that I have four detail pages, and while they all seem to be the same in terms of having the same header, two of them work properly and two of them don’t in each of desktop and mobile.
3/ How do I create menus for the mobile pages? Do I have to create separate mobile menus, and links to all the mobile pages? Or will that be controlled by the server software when it recognizes its on a mobile device?
4/ Do you have a tutorial on how the desktop and tablet versions relate to the supposedly totally separate phone versions?
I think you have a powerful theme but for the life of me I can’t figure out how the heck to put it to work properly. Can you point me in the direction of some tutorials in either video or print that can show me how? I’ve been using your theme for over a year now, though not working with it consistently. When I set it up originally it seemed to do the job, but now I’m asking more of it, or maybe I’m looking at it more critically, and I can’t make it work consistently in an integrated way.
5/ Can you take a look at my website in Desktop, tablet and phone versions, and check out the menu items, and take a look at the header and tell me why things aren’t working properly and how I can get them working properly.
https://onlineinvestmentconference.com/
Thanks,
Peter
Ok, I have worked all day and think I have most of the problems solved. I resaved all the individual pages and the bad pages seemed to sort themselves out.
I also deleted the separate mobile page for the front page as a trial and it didn’t seems to make a difference to how the front page displayed on mobile. Is a separate mobile page actually necessary?
My last issue concerns the mobile configuration of the front page. Take a look at this screenshot https://onlineinvestmentconference.com/files/IMG_0992.PNG. How do I get rid of the extra row at the top with the mobile menu/search icons in it. Somehow it’s in there and I can’t delete it. How do I get rid of it?

Hello!
By editing a page with TagDiv Composer you could delete elements but also the row called “Empty column”.
You could try to delete it like this: select the row, press the button delete from your keyboard, then with your mouse select “YES”.
Also you have another option too, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/pxuOzYIIpcG
Please let me know which problems are still persisting, so I can help you efficiently.
Thank you!
Thank you for information on how to delete rows and columns but I have known how to do that for a long time. The problem is that I cannot SEE the row to delete in Composer. Here is a screen shot of what I see in composer https://prnt.sc/6FL9VeClBx7l. How do I find the row that appears in my iphone but that I cannot see in composer?
A question that occurs to me is why don’t you have some kind of Navigator that you can see all the blocks in a page, like Elementor has. I have a couple of Elementor sites and it is WAY easier to navigate up and down the page by using the Elementor Navigator.
With TagDiv, its very difficult to navigate up and down the page. Would be a lot easier with some kind of navigator.
Anyway, still waiting for your answer on how to access the empty row at the top of the iphone page so I can delete it.
BTW, this extra block does not occur on any other of the website pages. Only the front page.

And this is what I see on the front page of my iphone when I pull down the page. You can see the extra block, that I cannot see in Composer.

I do not see this extra block on the other pages of the website. And like I say, I cannot see it in composer.

Hello!
It should be in Composer too, otherwise please make sure there is not a plugin conflict or a sticky row. If that row is sticky, disable the option or deactivate the sticky header from the Website Manager.
For easier navigation, we have this tool: https://www.screencast.com/t/JVYklvqk
Thank you!
The ‘ToTop’ button was already enabled. Not sure what it does however since I can’t see what ever effect it has. Just for good measure I turned the ‘Show on Mobile’ button too.
However, I think I may have discovered what the problem is, thought I still don’t know how to solve it. I noticed that if I select the header content in the desktop or tablet modes https://www.screencast.com/t/mCacmjyMm0d it tells me it it is the header menu as I go across the mode selector from desktop to tablet landscape to tablet portrait. But when I continue to mobile mode, the mode info changes to simply ‘Content’. https://www.screencast.com/t/MidBZxZXS0V9 I think what I can see as my Header Menu in mobile is simply Content, not the actual Header Menu.
The actual header content is there, but inaccessible in the composer. But it shows in mobile as a blank block, and when I ‘pull down’ the page in mobile, it shows as a blank blue line with a blank logo element.https://www.screencast.com/t/tghJI6uTNDh
How do I:
1/ Access this hidden header content block
2/ Get rid of the additional content information masquerading as a header?
3/ Furthermore, since I realize what the problem is, I realize that in fact on the other pages of the website, e.g. the ‘Join Us page, the header menu appears on Desktop in the editor https://www.screencast.com/t/DguykAYzmkws but in the mobile version it doesn’t appear at all https://www.screencast.com/t/tojKftCR
Bottom line: I think I have hidden blocks that are selectively appearing. I think I did this in the course of trying to make the menus work. Whatever the reason, how can I make them appear so I can access them?
Or is the solution just that the website header structure is so screwed up, with blocks that have been hidden now not accessible. So I should just create a brand new, properly functioning header and apply it to all the pages? and if so, how do I do this?
(Hopefully I don’t have to wait till tomorrow again to get an answer on this.)
REPEAT OF ABOVE POST BECAUSE I NEED TO ADD SOMETHING

(Hopefully I don’t have to wait till tomorrow again to get an answer on this.)>>>>sorry but your tech support process leaves something to be desired. You are over i Europe but if you’re going to support people in Europe, you need to have someone working on Nort American hours. It takes 3-5 days to get any kind of problem solved because you’re in Romania working in European hours so you answer my question, but buy the time I get to it and implement it, and if I have a supplementary question, by the time I ask it you’re gone for the day. So I have to wait another day for the answer and we go through the cycle again. Its really frustrating.
So, I checked my company pages in mobile. None of them have a mobile header that can be seen in Composer. Please tell me how this mobile view header is supposed to work? I can’t access it??
