Cannot control category archive view after upgrade to Newspaper 10

Hi,

I’ve just finished an upgrade to Newspaper 10 and can’t get my category archives displaying properly (called “Article display view” in the theme panel).

Please compare:

WRONG: Newspaper 10 – dev server:
https://e20815d645.nxcli.net/category/news/

CORRECT: Newspaper 9 – live server:
https://foodtradenews.com/category/news/

All category archives should be using the “M16” view. Here’s a screenshot of my settings:

No matter which view I choose, I get the layout you see on the dev server. FYI, I do have the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin running.

Hi,

Make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Hi Calin,

You got it! There was some incompatible code in the category.php template file in the child theme.

Easy fix!
