Cannot edit widgets after updating to wp 4.9

As the title says, yesterday i updated to Wp 4.9.

After that when i go to the widgets page, i cannot edit Custom HTML and Text widgets.

It is only showing the widget name and the buttons beneath (save etc).

This strange behaviour happens only with those two widgets.

Every plugin,theme etc is updated.

Could you help me sort it out?

Ensure that you have increased your system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Clear all the caches and check the results.

I have the same issue and the increased items did not help. Please advise.

I have updated to 8.5 – still no luck
Disabled all plugins – still no luck
Switched theme to 2017 – works.

Please advise.

Hello NP Comm,

First of all, please disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Make sure that all of the untested plugins were been disabled because this is the first step for debugging on WordPress.

Resolved – issues in functions.php in child-theme.
