Cannot embed video

I’m trying to embed a video from cloud server like Screencast-o-matic and Spotlightr

I have the embed code but the only result I get is the page simply displays the code

I added the link in the normal way, as with other links i.e. YouTube links
But since YouTube shutdown my channel because they don’t like my content I have had to find other video storage sites. Vimeo also shut down my account so I can’t use them anymore
I’ve used spotlightr.com and screencast-o-matic.com which also provide code for embedding the video. Neither link or embed option from these video storages works with Newspaper.

Is there a more flexible video plugin I could use in Newspaper?

OK I have resolved it.
Wordpress org hasn’t listed my video host on their service called oEmbed to “pull” the media from the page of the link I provide.
I’ve installed a plugin from Spotlightr.com that allows me to successfully use the html block
I’ve been using wordpress for 25 yrs almost and WordPress.org are always a little behind on things.. They haven’t yet listed screencast-o-matic either.
