Cannot get rid of related stories

Hi. I cannot get rid om related stories. Its a theme issue, but the block with related stories are not created by the VC.
In theme post settings, I have disabled “Show related articles” but this does not help.

Any ideas. The related articles can be seen in this post

Hello!

Edit it with the TagDiv Composer, scroll down and click on that element. There is actually a recycle bin basket for every element https://www.screencast.com/t/wFYdqgpo6pT

Thank you!

Hi Bettina
Thanks. But as I wrote, the block is not seen in the VC, I have checked that a dozens times.
I think I need to create a support ticket.

Best,
Henrik

I’m having the same issue. It’s not an element that I can delete when editing, but appears on every single post. I have a slide underneath it that displays related articles, so it’s redundant to have both. Please help!

Hello @pricelesspassport !

It could be from a plugin, so please deactivate plugin by plugin to see which one causes the element to display.

Thank you!

It was like that with the theme originally. I have too many plugins at this point to go one by one without risking corrupting my site. What was Frydenborg’s solution for the same problem?

Hello @pricelesspassport !

We didn’t receive any emails from him.

Thank you!

There has to be a solution though. The theme came like that and there is no reason for there to be double related stories one after the other. Can I start a ticket for someone to look into it?

Hello @pricelesspassport !

You can send us an email, provide more information about your issue, and provide a data login to your website.

Thank you!

Yeah, I am sorry, I never did sned the mail as suggested.

@Frydenborg Were you able to fix it on your own?

Post count: 115

No, I did not solve it

TagDiv support found the solution! For @Frydenborg and anyone else having this issue, it’s because of the jetpack plugin. Go to Jetpack, Settings, then Traffic and unselected “Show related content after posts”

Splendid, thanks for taking the time to figure this out.
