Hi, I’m having trouble activating my Newspaper license.
By clicking on the “activate now” option next to the legend “unregistered” I am redirected to the url https://mysite/wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_cake_panel
and there i get an error from wordpress saying i don’t have permissions to access that page.
I have reinstalled the wordpress and the theme to eliminate any possibility of failure in those issues but the error continues.
There is nothing of interest in the logs that refers to this problem. The wordpress version is 6.2 and the theme version is Newspaper version 12.3.1
The PHP version of the server is 8.2. i also tried downgrading to php version 8 with no result.

If you get a message like this“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” ,then you can solved this problem in this way:
go in Newspaper> System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png
admin.php?page=td_system_status
in
admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1
And try after that to activate the theme.
