Can’t change the background color of the header – Newspaper theme

Hi, I had a gradient colors (Red, Green, 90 degrees) as background of the header on my website initially. Now I want to change it to solid black. This is what I did:

Edit with Tagdiv Composer –>
clicked the header zone –>
change both solid and gradient to black in the General tab –>
changed Background color to black in Css tab –>
Save all.

On front end, when I hit refresh, the header background displays black for about half a second then goes back to the original gradients I had originally. Could you please help? Thanks

Hi,
Please provide a link to your website and I will check to see how the background color on your header is set, maybe this is set on the row and not on the header zone.
