Can't Define Article Excerpt Length on Mobile vs. Desktop

Hello, I’m trying to figure out how to specify different article excerpt lengths based on the device (desktop vs mobile vs tablet, etc.).

Many aspects of the styling and format are editable based on device, but article excerpt length seems to be set across all devices with no option to differentiate. Am I missing something here?

Hi,

That is not possible, the excerpt length will be the same for all devices. Not all the settings in the composer can be set per device. The except will be the same at all times. You can show/hide it per device https://prnt.sc/ucxgvx maybe that is useful for what you would like to do.
There could be a CSS solution for this however, I could try and create a code for it. Please provide a link to the website, and mention for which elements you would like to do this.
