Since yesterday I am also having the same issue on my site. Can’t install any of the demos, getting the usual pop-up javascript errors. There is no upload limit, or permission error on my side but don’t know what has happened, doesn’t seem like this is a server side error.
Moreover, the social network tab in the theme panel doesn’t work in my case, despite filling up the unique urls the social icons (not from the social counter) from the footer or the top bar redirects back to my site with a 404 error. The if the URL should be like: (facebook.com/abcd) it automatically turns into: (yoursite.com/abcd) and hence I am getting 404 error instead of opening the opening the Facebook page upon clicking the social icons.
Hi,
Please check the permissions on your upload folder. More useful information here
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/
The second step is to make modifications to these parameters if needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You could ask your hosting provider to check these for you, or make the modifications for you if needed. They might have a recommended method in this matter.
Also disable all plugins and clear all caching before installing a demo to make sure the plugins do not interfere with the process.
If you have made all the above mentioned changes and the result is the same, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide all the necessary information (admin login, FTP access). Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thanks
Hello Simion,
First of all thank you so much for the prompt reply. I don’t know but it’s very weird. The issue lasted for may be around 2 days, after that automatically I was able to install the demos. Even I checked today and everything seems normal and no more I am getting error messages while trying to install demos.
