Can't make responsive link blocks work in footer

Hi,

I have been using static 728×15 link blocks in the footers of two of my Newspaper sites. However, for no apparent reason they will only show replacement ads on about 1 – 2% of my pages.

Google AdSense support has, therefore, recommended me to use responsive link blocks instead. However, I cannot make those work.

If I use the responsive link block with the setting “Auto” for desktop (in the Ads section of the Theme Panel), the theme will show leaderboards instead (728×90), causing layout problems and – on several pages – violating AdSense rule of max. 3 ads per page. If I choose “728×15” setting for desktop, no ads are shown.

Is there any other way of implementing a responsive link block in the footer?

My site: http://www.swedentips.se/ (now the static 728×15 link block is running in the footer)

And this is an example of where the static 728×15 will only show replacement ad (white colour): http://www.swedentips.se/activities/swedish-midsummer-wreath/

Thanks.

Walther

Hello,
If the theme ad system is creating problems with your adsenbse ads, then please try to use a different ad rendering software like for example adrotate. This way the theme will not interfere with the ad code.
Thank you!
