Can't preview or activate the theme, gives me error

Hi,
As the title says “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” I have a fresh domain with fresh WP installation, I had the NewPaper theme installed temporarily from my main site but I wanted to get this theme instead for this site. I have uploaded the .zip from within WP but the moment I press Activate my site goes down!
I had to delete the theme via FTP in order to access my site again.
I tried 2nd time only this time I pressed preview and voila the same error “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
My server is being hosted on debian 11/myvestacp/php 8.0.
I do not face problems with NewsPaper or any other theme that I have tested!
In case this can’t be fixed, can I change my license to NewsPaper that I know it works?

I am sorry but I do not understand.
I’ve put it as simple as I can!
On fresh WP installation with any other theme I do not face any problem. They install and work.
This theme on the other hand, I upload it, press activate and I go the error I’ve listed above. Tried a few times and I can reproduce the error every single time.
Not only when I press activate the theme but also when I preview the theme.

The second part is since I can’t get this theme working, I am asking if I can cancel the purchase and buy the NewsPaper that I already own for another project, tested and works as should.

I have fixed it by reintalling wp. Although it was a fresh installation didn’t work the first time.
