On my test site.. ticotimes.5e.cr, I have a drop down menus for different categories to appear. For example under the main menu their is Arts and culture. Under this menu there are 2 sub menus: coffee, national parks.
When I wen to make a change to the category for coffee.. it changed the category on the entire site so the same stories appeared on every sub menu throughout the site.
How can I make the change just for that page.. For example.. under coffee.. coffee stories.. for National Parks.. national parks stories.. etc…

You can duplicate the category template/layout for every category to have different template, make the specific changes and assign it to that category in the theme panel.

Thank you for the response. Can you tell me specifically how I can do this? Every time I make a change to the filter using Tagdiv it changes the category on the entire site and not just on that particular page
. For example when I change the filter for fishing, it changes them on every submenu on the site so that now the surfing section is showing the fishing articles even though the filter still says surfing
I look at the category template and its I believe I have it on the single option and not the global.
I have also tried to use the edit category option but that did not seem to have any effect.
If you go to ticotimes.5e.cr and look under the travel menu header, you will see what I mean.
What I am looking to do is just have each category show just its articles. So surfing would show only articles about surfing, fishing would only show articles about fishing etc.

You can make every category different than others by assigning their own template for each category.
