Categories Broken (Showing 404)

I’ve created categories and made a post under a category. I have my permalinks set to https://www.mydomain.com/sample-post/

Whenever I visit a category page (https://www.mydomain.com/news/) I get the 404 page. This happens for every category I create. My .htaccess is set with proper permissions. I don’t know what’s going on.

Hi,

Please try to update your permalink structure and also test this without using any plugins, disable all of them leaving just Visual Composer active.
Let us know how it goes and if you can’t manage to fix it give wp-access so we can have a look and send you login details at contact@tagdiv.com
