Categories in Facebook share

When a post is shared on facebook it lists all the categories under the title. How can I get it to not do that?

Make sure you have your open graph tags setup properly, and always have an excerpt in your story excerpt box.

Just did the excerpt box but still getting all the tags. Is there documentation for the open graphs setup? Don’t really know what you mean.

Google… open graph tags… that is what facebook uses to capture the correct content

If you have yoast seo installed, you can set the title and description for facebook both manually. It is handy at times.
