Categories Not Showing Articles – Main Menu

I have a really strange issue –

The main header menu (category menu) on the site has suddenly started to show either a 404 response
Or: one single article from the category

I’m using Ubermenu – but have deactivated it and no change

It’s happened very recently and I can’t figure out what is causing it – even if I enter a category url to a browser window – it delivers one post from the category (the same post each time and not most recent) or a 404

So westbridgfordwire.com/events/ – nor response 404

westbridgfordwire.com/news/ the same or a single article POST

Can anyone help?

Hello PatWire,

Please try to re-save your Permalinks, clear all your caches and test it again. Also, if you are using some untested plugins in the theme, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
