Categories Pagination Showing Same Posts Every Page

Hello!

I have multiple WordPress sites with the Newspaper theme and for some reason category pages show same posts at each page number – the page 1 displays the 8 latest posts, however when I go to page 2, 3, 4… it displays the same 8 posts of first page.
It only happens on categories, not on home pages or search pages.
I didn’t edited code or theme files…
Also I noticed it not only happens on my sites. Other sites with the same theme too.

If someone have an idea on how I can fix this.. I thank you in advance.

If I understand your question properly:

1.Go to your posts page in your WordPress backend, and edit your post that shows up on every category.
2. On the right hand side of the post editor page, you should see a a box titled ‘Categories’.
3. Now, tick the category or categories you want the post to show up in and then click Publish.

Your site should now only show the post in the category you selected.

I hope I understood your question correctly.

I have same issue.

All category pages display same posts.

mywebsite.com/category/abcdf/page/2/
mywebsite.com/category/abcdf/page/3/
mywebsite.com/category/abcdf/page/4/
..
..
I am using Newspaper V6.6
I updated wordpress, then this happened.
