Category Breadcrumbs

Hey guys, I am wanting to try and figure out how to expand or include more categories in the breadcrumbs.

For example… I have categories like this:

Parent Category
> Subcategory
— Sub-Subcategory

But when an article is published.. I am only seeing this..

Home > Subcategory > Sub-Subcategory > Title

Any way to have it show like this:

Home > Parent Category > Subcategory > Sub-Subcategory > Title

In a real world example I have this:

Home > Nootropics > Smart Drugs > Brain Boosters > Title

But it will only show up as this:

Home > Smart Drugs > Brain Boosters > Title

And I guess to get the full story, I have the Home > breadcrumb turned off. I would rather not have that on the site so really I just want it to do this:

Parent Category > Subcategory > Sub-Subcategory > Title

Is this possible? I have the option for “SHOW PARENT CATEGORY” turned on, but I guess that doesn’t work when you have a sub-subcategory.

Hi,

You will need custom modifications to achieve this, here you can find breadcrumb function if you want to alter it – http://screencast.com/t/W1vDNAnb25iI unfortunately we cannot provide any type of custom work at this time, sorry! I have added it on our list and we will think about this, however we have over 250 features on our list we have to pick very carefully what we implement.
