Category Events needs to be in EVENT date order not published date order

I need to make one of my categories appear on the Home Page and the Category page in the order of the ‘Event Date’ – not in the order of publishing date. How do I do that?

To have this option to filter it, request custom work -> https://tagdiv.com/submit-a-request/ or you can try to filter using a custom field https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
