Hello,
There are different blocks on the home page like don’t miss life style news and etc. in which i have edited the categories with the Multiple categories filter with the id of the categories to be displayed on my site still it shows all the categories in home page.

Make sure you get the correct category id number by hovering over the category neme: http://screencast.com/t/DbADwnjw7,
Also make sure you leave the category filter to default before inserting category id’s: http://screencast.com/t/jkiBYahX0R
