Hi,
In reference to the category pages, for the sorting order drop down box, would it be possible change the default sort order? For example, I would like the default to be Popular (last 7 days) as compared to Latest.
If not, could I request this as an update from the next Newspaper 6 release?

Unfortunately you will have to alter the code, please check this topic as reference and try a similar solution – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-change-default-latest-articles-to-featured-on-category-top-post-style/ I suggest to hire a professional if you need this and you don’t have basic php experience as we cannot provide custom work, sorry!
