Category showing in URL

Hello,

can can i remove word “category” before the real site ?
I do not want that word to be infront of every site.

I also have Archives showing on the top and want to remove them.

I am using Yoast SEO but i already deleted from title template from author archives, nothing changed.

Theme doesn’t control permalinks or slugs.

Good to google the way to remove /category/ in front of your slugs, and also check your permalink settings in the WP admin panel.

( I don’t work here. )
